We want to transform firefighting.

Our Purpose

Intterra started on fire. Our team, our tech, and our spirit formed around the need to get reliable information to the fireline faster than was possible back in the day. We had each been challenged, frustrated, even heartbroken by the need for critical intel to save homes, lives, communities, watersheds, wildlife, and firefighters.

When firefighters are racing against disaster – and every emergency is someone’s personal disaster – they need to know what’s around the corner, what’s likely to happen next, where the hazards are located, who’s next to them in the dark, and how to get out safely. That’s our mission, our vision, our strategy, our tech, our metric, and our bottom line: helping get information to the people who put their lives on the line to save others, as fast as technologically possible.

Leadership

Meet the Intterra leadership team dedicated to enabling firefighters and emergency responders to fight fires with better info.

Brian started his career serving his country as a U.S. Marine. Up until founding Intterra with Kate Dargan and David Blankinship in 2010, he held positions in both commercial and public sector organizations working on and leading major projects for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, SRA International and The Boeing Company. Brian has been CEO since 2016

Brian Collins

Co-Founder, CEO

Kate at age 18 began her career as a firefighter and worked her way up to the top post of California State Fire Marshal, a first for women. She is an awarded leader in public, elected, and non-profit organizations and has served on many boards and commissions related to public safety, wildland fire, and community grassroots efforts. Kate was CEO of Intterra from 2010 until 2016.

Kate Dargan

Co-Founder, Chairman of Board

Molly began her career working in management consulting for Accenture and then Oppenheimer Funds where she specialized in IT solutions implementation, vendor management, and program/project leadership. At Intterra, Molly drives all operational activities that relate to customer success: onboarding, product support, and account management.

Molly Hausmann

Co-Founder, Member of Board

David is a 22-year veteran of the Geospatial industry. He started in the utilities sector, then spent 10+ years as the Senior GIS Analyst for Colorado Springs Fire. While there David deployed across the country supporting disasters and major incidents and thinking about how to get information to decision makers when they needed it, no matter where they were. As the CXO, David leverages best practices in user experience and innovating new ways to improve it – communicating from an executive and technical level with Public Safety Organizations and the Intterra dev and ops teams.

David Blankinship

Co-Founder, Member of Board

Robert brings over 23 years of successful sales background in public safety and emergency management, including implementation of the United States’ first statewide VOIP 911 solution. Robert also operated as a liaison to Denver’s Office of Emergency Management during the 2008 Democratic National Convention where he seamlessly coordinated an emergency response through federal, state, and local teams. At Intterra, Robert’s focus is growing all revenue channels while developing marketing initiatives.
